Lambda Phi Epsilon
The Largest and Only International Asian Fraternity

UC Davis Lambda Phi Epsilon History

Lambda Phi Epsilon on the Davis Campus was founded in the fall of 1985. The force behind the emergence of the Davis Chapter was Timothy Kan. He began the fraternity as a social outlet to the Asian Students on campus. The rationale was that his house would provide Asian Student the oppurtunity to participate in the greek system without feeling like a token of the house and without losing their heritage in order to fit in. furthermore, he believed that the fraternity offers the Asian male populace more opportunities to interact with all other social groups on campus that traditional Asian clubs could not. The Davis Chapter is recognized for its alhletic and academic excellence. The Davis Chapter is the Beta Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon and was the first Asian-American Fraternity to start a second chapter. We gladly invite you to browse our website and discover what the eternal brotherhood of Lambda Phi Epsilon is all about and also feel free to contact us for any questions.
